A close-up lens that allows detailed observation of objects at distances as close as 25-30 cm which is perfect for viewing butterflies and insects. It is also particularly practical: when not in use, the lens can be safely stored in the leather case provided - the best place to keep it safe and sound. But our Monovid offers much, much more. Its aluminum body is nitrogen-filled to prevent misting, and its lenses are coated with water and dirt repellent AquaDuraTM coating. Furthermore, in contrast to all other monoculars, it is not only splash-proof but fully waterproof to a depth of 5m (16.5 ft).
