Rome Del Rosario
Rome Del Rosario is a Manila based wedding photographer behind Hello Rome Photo, a Leica M user known for shooting analog film in today’s age of AI through a documentary approach that challenges traditional wedding photography and pushes it further.
After nearly ten years of photographing weddings digitally, he transitioned to shooting entirely on film, embracing a fully manual and intentional process centered on presence, authenticity, and human connection.
His work focuses on giving couples the space to breathe and truly experience their wedding day, guided by a question he constantly returns to: How would we want to remember this day years from now? Rather than pursuing perfection, Rome captures weddings as lived experiences, raw, candid, and deeply personal moments preserved on film.
He embraces limitations as creative tools that encourage instinct and attentiveness. Most recently, he has been exploring black and white storytelling using Leica MONOPAN 50, discovering new ways of seeing light, emotion, and memory beyond the color we are used to.
